5 Best Places to Work as a Freelancer in LA

As a remote worker in Los Angeles you may get tired of sitting in your living room all day and need a change of scenery. Moving from your bedroom to your desk may get mundane and maybe you even miss social interaction and meeting new people.

If you are new to Los Angeles or have lived here for some time and need new places to explore, we have a list of the best places to check out as a freelancer. These are some of my favorites because they are sprawled all throughout the city which gives you a chance to really see more of the city. Here is where to work remotely in Los Angeles:

1. Verve Coffee – Melrose, Arts District or Silverlake

It is no surprise that Jacob Elordi and Oliva Jade love Verve Coffee as their date spot. The location in the Arts District features high ceilings and lots of natural light. If you are trying to get your freelance remote work done why not do it in a place with beautiful architecture? Also get the iced matcha latte here, it is fantastic.

2. Sightglass Sycamore

It is no wonder that Tyler the Creator frequents this artsy coffee shop in Hollywood. They have fabulous food and an array of to-go snacks, pastries and even fresh flowers. The café is spacious and include light wooden seats and desks for you to get your remote work done. Plug in your headphones and keep your eyes peeled for some A-List celebs that pop into this spot.

3. Maru Coffee– Arts District

If you are a remote worker with an itch for maple colored furniture then come here. The inside of the café is industrial and minimalistic with beautiful furniture scattered throughout the space. They have the most aesthetic drinks and make sure to get their oat latte, you won’t regret it.

4. Coffee MCO

If you love Ktown then you will love getting your work done at Coffee MCO. They have a stunning outdoor space with lots of seating so you can soak up the sun while getting your freelance projects done. Their bread is fresh and surprisingly for a coffee shop, they have full breakfast entrees and they are delicious. Try their avocado toast, sit in the sun and enjoy finishing your work outdoors.

5. Bricks and Scones

Located in Larchmont Bricks and Scones has the best homemade breakfast and pastries in the neighborhood. You can tell that everything they prepare has love in it! There are so many outdoor seats for you and your remote worker friends to lounge in. There are abundance of tables so you will always find a place to get your work done. Try their scones and grab a coffee because Bricks and Scones will make you feel like you are at home.
